Camp Zama

Take the Momoishi toll road to Hachinohe.
Upon exiting the Momoishi Expressway, turn right at the 1st traffic light onto route 45.
Follow route 45 to the bottom of the hill and turn right under the underpass.
Follow this road till you cross the bridge over the river. Turn right at the next traffic light after the bridge, this will be route 104. .5 km, towards the Hachinohe Expressway entrance.
Turn left onto the Hachinohe Expressway entrance ramp in 1.1 km.
Toll gate in 1.2 km. Take toll ticket and hold onto till departing Tohoku Expressway.
The Tohoku Expressway begins at mile marker 563.6.
- 1st stop at the Shiwa rest area, after exit #40, mile marker 489.5.
- 2nd stop at the Kunimi rest area, after exit 23, mile marker 282.2.
- 3rd stop at the Sano rest area, after exit #8, mile marker 58.6.
Go through the toll gate by exit #2 to Shuto Expressway, s1.
Follow s1 to c2 expressway.
Follow c2 to b expressway, go towards expressway 11.
Follow b to expressway 11, go towards c1 expressway.
Follow expressway 11 to expressway c1, go towards expressway 3.
Follow expressway c1 to expressway 3.
Take the expressway 3 to the Tomei Expressway.
Follow the Romei Expressway to the Yokohama exit (route 16).
Take route 16 about .3 miles to route 246.
Turn left onto route 246.
Follow route 246 for about 6.8 miles.
Turn right and go about 2.3 miles to Camp Zama’s front gate.
