- Drive to the Misawa train station so that the station is on your left and you are parallel with the tracks.
- Pass the station, go about 100 yards up the hill (if you reach the crest of the hill at the T intersection you have gone too far!)
- You should pass one little driveway on your left, then after that there's a big entrance on your left.
- There's a big sign in Japanese but it also has English "Komaki" by/on it. Turn left into the entrance.
- You'll approach the parking lot. Pass the little dip that you can drive down on your left and go to the next left turn. You'll cross over the train tracks to get to a second parking lot. This is the onsen resort parking lot and there's often buses and attendants and stuff out there. I usually park in this lot.
- Directly to the right of the onsen building, between the building and the parking lot, there's a big gateway that you can drive through. I walk through there and then you're in Shibusawa Park.
- You can go left or right and it loops around the lake. If you go left you'll come across horses and some thatched-roof houses, then a stone wall and the red bridge. If you go right you'll come upon the pond and there is a little dock to feed the fish.
