Tanesashi Grassy Beach

Take Momoishi toll road from Misawa to Hachinohe. (The trip requires 2 toll passes each way)
Turn right onto route 45.
At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, at the overpass, turn left.
Staying in the left lane, follow the road to where the left lane goes straight and the other 2 lanes turn right. (There will be a sign for the ferry port at this point.)
Go straight, through the tunnel, over the overpass, and turn right at the traffic light.
Follow this road over the big bridge to the t-intersection.
Turn right.
Follow this road to the t-intersection, turn left.
Follow this road to the fourth traffic light (there will be a sign for the turn overhead.)
Turn right.
Follow this road for a distance till you come to a 10% downhill that turns to the right at the bottom.
At the bottom of the hill there will be a stop sign (look up).
Go straight, past the stop sign. (Shirahama Sandy Beach will be on your left.
Cross the railroad tracks, a distance down the road.
The beach is on your left.
You may park in the restaurant’s lot on the left, if you plan on eating there. Otherwise there is parking on the right side of the road in the gravel lots.
