Little Raindrops Cake Pops

I've made cake pops a few times. I still don't quite have it perfected, but they're fun and still turn out pretty cute! For my 10 year blogiversary, Jen and I made a cake. We had some leftovers and decided to make sweet Little Raindrops Cake Pops!
To make cake pops, the amazing Bakerella has instructions on her site. Here is what I did:
Made some of Wilton's buttercream frosting and made it very, very blue with some frosting tint. I had made four 8-inch round cakes previously and leveled them. I used the cut-off peaks for the cake pops. I mixed the four peaks into the very blue frosting.
I used a Pampered Chef small scoop and pick up some of the blue cake mush then rolled it into a ball in my palms. With the base of my thumb and my other palm, I rolled the tips of each ball into a teardrop shape. Dip the end of a lollipop stick in a little bit of melted (blue) candy melts and stick into the base of the raindrop.
I use a block of florist foam stuff (never have had much luck with styrofoam) to hold all the pops.
I melted the blue candy melts in a mug in the microwave and dipped each raindrop pop in. Tap the rim of the mug with the stick to remove the drips.
Tada! Little Raindrops cake pops!
