Jen is moving back east next week and we are moving way east soon, so this is the last time she’ll be able to come up here and visit us. Most of the time was spent just hanging out with Rhino. She needed to get her fill! Matt had to work during the day, so we spent time together until he came home (and was released early both days – yay!) We watched some movies, went for a walk to the library (but it was closed), played with Rhino, and whittled and carved some cute little projects! Jen got me some wood and carving tools for my birthday and we finally broke those out to try it out! I made a simple sort of peg person (a work in progress!), Jen carved a skull, and Matt carved a thumb (not his thumb!) and a bar of soap (out of wood). We aren’t awesome yet, but we aspire to be!
