Long time between posts
Sorry for not posting more, just don’t get around to it. Well here goes.
As far as games go, I’ve only really been doing two different games. I picked Oblivion back up due to the fact my computer now works! Now this game is insanely awesome!!! You raise skills by using them and level by raising skills. I am an archer that sneaks around to do extra damage from the shadows. The only bad things I’ve ever heard is that the game is that when you level it increases monster type and level to quickly. I disagree. By the time you get higher and higher, you should be using better tactics. I think it makes the game more fun myself. Having to use stealth better and fighting with my axe more skillfully.
The other game I’ve been playing is some co-op on Age of Mythology with Mel. We are having a blast and getting awesome. If you have never played it, it’s a real time strategy where you play either Norse, Egyptian, or Greek. Each “race” has three different main gods to choose from then sub-gods for each age that let you build different mythological units. I play Egyptian and Mel plays the Greek. We had an awesome game last night, I got a little grumpy from it but it was fun! Anyway, that’s about it for gaming.
We’ve been tearing through the Bleach now. It’s so awesome, I watched a few episodes when Mel was gone (I think ep. 50-55 or something) and we are now caught up to where I was at. I’m so excited weeee. Anyway, that’s about all the anime we’ve taken in lately. I watched all of Blue Seed just before I started my new shift but that was a bit ago.
We went to this craft store, Michaels, on Monday. Not to be all girly but I like going there. I look at all cross stitch that I may do someday
So Mel let me get this pricey big cross stitch for wolves that is insanely awesome! I think about…at least two times cooler then my current wolf cross stitch. Other then that she let me get this “How to draw dragons” book which I haven’t looked at yet and some pencils, and we got a generic sketch pad from Wal-mart. I’m pretty happy with my crafting life right now
So somewhat with the whole crafting thing, me and Mel have sorta started watching Friends again. We watch season three on “my weekend” Monday and Tuesday. Um…that’s all there is of that, lol.
We went to this outdoor haunted house on Monday night. Now I’m not big on scary and the only haunted house I’ve been to was when I was in kindergarten and they made a 10 second long one. This one was awesome though, I jumped a few times, but I had Mel on my arm for most of it so she usually jumped earlier then me and kinda warned me. I had a blast, plus I came out feeling more manly for being so…stoic?…the whole time so Mel could feel safe. It was really nice. We got in right when it was closing so it was perfect, it opens up pretty early, but I would much rather do it in “the dead of night”.
So Jason is planning on moving out on December 1st. Mel works with this lady during her guard weekends and she said something about how she had this little “gardeners house” or something to that effect attatched to her home. She is going to rent it for $500 a month with I believe all utilities paid. This is just an insanely awesome thing for Ja! It’s nice and cheap to start him out on. Also, he’s close enough we can visit or have him over for supper and he’ll still be able to watch the cats at Christmas. A little selfishly, it’ll be nice to have our home again. Or room has been kind of a mess due to the fact we had to move stuff into our room. Also, I’ll be able to play my PS2/gamecube/N64 whenever I want again and not have to worry about Jason. The only thing is I’m weird with smell, not that Jason stinks. For me each person has an individual smell, and Jasons is nice (he actually smells of dad quite a bit) but I look forward to it smelling like our house again. That was a bunch of weird sentances, sorry
So my “new job” often gives me alot of time for…well nothing, so I went searching for some books to read online. I came across the Barsoom series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It’s a really interesting set of books about a Virginian that goes to Mars. Sounda weird but it’s really cool. It’s held my attention for quite a while, still reading them in fact!
The only last thing before I’m done is, me and Mel could use some prayer in regards to being more faithful to God. We need to do these devotions we have better instead of cramming them all in before we go to our small group. Just to come back closer to God really. Anyway, that’s about all I got right now. Afterwards.
