For the most part this day doesn’t really affect me (mostly because most of my life I haven’t had a girlfriend to spend it with anyway) or really mel.  We take time to be extra special to each other but for the most part all it really does is make me want to be a little extra romantic to Mel.  So I cheated and gave Mel her “valentine’s day gift” last night instead of today.  I spent alot of last night cleaning and I went around shopping.  I bought a package of rose petals and laid a good few of them on the bad in the shape of a heart then I sprinkled them from the bedroom to the door and I put the heart shaped candy thingy I got for in the heart of petals then I put her card on top of that and sprinkled the left over petals over the entire bed.  I bought some red (apple pie or something) candles as well.  So when we got home I had her stay in the car as I lit the candles.  Then she came in and got a nice suprise.  It was nice cus she had a rough day, and making my wife feel special makes me very happy.  So there’s that.

Now for today we are pretty much…not doing much.  I am making dinner (Italian chicken, chicken rice, green beans) and she is making a red velvet cake (my fav!!).  We “made” armies for Dawn of War for today.  Mine is called The Valentine Squad and hers is Happy V-Day <3 <3, and they are both a combination of valentine day colors.  So we’ll be playing that and watching friends…and other stuff.

That’s about it…not much gaming in since sunday due to all this stuff.  Afterwards.
