Well ughh — it’s been how long since I’ve touched this? I guess it’s time to call for some fixing up around here. You can hopefully look forward to my getting some links working and adding some stuff around here. I am obviously never satisfied with the way things look, so you might even see some layout changes sometime. Keep your eyes peeled, kiddies.

Personal News
Even though the site hasn’t seen anything new for months, I on the other hand, have been experiencing tons of new things. Just so you know, my job over at Astek Corp is working out quite nicely. I’m the Unix Sysadmin and work with a bunch of electrical engineers that do cool things and am learning a bunch! My last day at work will unfortunately be August 10th, but there are definite plans to come back to work in the future. I went out mountain biking with some work buddies last Thursday — my first time mountain biking. It was quite interesting; I mostly enjoyed it. I just need a smaller, lighter (etc.) bike. =\ Other than that, I’m getting the college thing sorted out. I’m going up to Colorado State on August 16th. I got registered for all my classes last month (College Composition, Calculus I for Physical Scientists, Social Problems, Java Programming, and Electrical Engineering Fundamentals — 17 credit hours for semester one). I’m pretty psyched about all that. My roommate is some chick from Cheyenne, Wyoming, whom I haven’t spoken with yet. Lesse — work, school — oh yes! fun. I went up to the Ozzfest in Denver in June, at which I had quite a blast. I went up with my boyfriend Luke, and buddies Aaron, David, and Mike. It rocked! Well, maybe it wasn’t all that exciting. I couldn’t care less for half the bands that were there. I showed up for The Union Underground (who didn’t show up for me), Papa Roach (was pretty nifty), Marily Manson (whoa ….) and of course, Ozzy!! So yah, I had fun. Then I spent a weekend with my girl buddy Bobbi up at Six Flags and hung out. Then I spent a week at my father’s pretty much just chillin’. Now I’m back here and pretty excited to see my little sister who’s flying in from Dallas tomorrow and to celebrate my mom’s birthday by seeing Final Fantasy. So that’s kind of the news for now.
